I mean, you’re right in Dresden Neustadt – which locals will tell you is the cooler side of the Elbe anyway – but this little apartment hotel sits quietly enough that you won’t hear drunk backpackers stumbling around at 2 AM.

The building itself has that solid German apartment feel, nothing flashy, but honestly that’s part of its charm. When I walked in, the whole setup reminded me of staying at a friend’s place rather than some sterile hotel chain. The apartments are modern without being cold – clean lines, decent kitchen setups (actually functional, not just for show), and windows that open properly, which you’d be surprised how many places get wrong. The 8.7 rating makes sense once you’re there; it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but everything works the way it should. The shower pressure is solid, the WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and the beds are firm enough that you won’t wake up feeling like you wrestled a pretzel all night.

What really sells this place though is the neighborhood situation. You’re maybe a ten-minute walk from the Hauptstraße strip where all the bars and restaurants are, but far enough away that you can actually sleep. And here’s something most people don’t realize – you’re closer to the real Dresden from here than if you stayed in the old town tourist bubble across the river. There’s this little bakery about two blocks down that opens at 6 AM with proper German bread (none of that Wonder Bread nonsense), and the whole area has this lived-in vibe where you’ll see actual Dresdeners doing their grocery shopping and walking their dogs. The tram connections are decent too – I caught the line to the Frauenkirche without any hassle, though honestly walking across the Augustus Bridge is half the fun anyway. Parking was surprisingly manageable for the area, which if you’ve ever tried to park in European city centers, you know that’s worth mentioning. The only minor thing I’d note is that the check-in process is a bit more self-service than some people might expect – you won’t have a concierge hovering around, but the instructions are clear and it’s actually kind of refreshing not having to make small talk when you just want to drop your bags and explore the city.

  Evin lokasyonu güzel çok sakin bir yer. Sokakta fazlasıyla park alanı var ve ne zaman gelirseniz gelin mutlaka park yeri bulunur. Mutfakta gereken tüm malzemeler var tencere tava tabak bardak filan. Yataklar rahat. Genel olarak sevdik.

Eve geldiğimizde çamaşır yıkamak istedik ancak çamaşır makinesi yoktu ev sahibine sorduğumuzda bodrumda ve 2 euroya çalıştığını söylediler. Bunlar ilanda belirtilmeli ancak böyle bir bilgi yoktu.

  Die Lage ist super, alles ist gut erreichbar und trotzdem schön ruhig. Auch die Terrasse hat uns sehr gefallen.

  The stay was in a quiet area, which we appreciated. The baby bed was provided as agreed, and we could check in earlier than 3 PM. The studio was basic but functional—an Airbnb-style setup with no frills or special touches. It was a 10-minute walk from the park and main attractions, which was convenient. Overall, it served its purpose with no major complaints.
  
  What could be improved: There was no shampoo, and the shower curtain had mold. We also found someone’s hair on the shower tiles, which was unpleasant. No coffee or tea was provided. The entry area felt messy, with a mop and vacuum stored in plain sight. Compared to other places we’ve rated 4 or 5 stars, this was a solid 3 out of 5.

  Mieszkanie jest w dobrej lokalizacji. Okolica spokojna i czysta oraz cicha. 5 min od mieszkania znajduje się linia tramwajowa nr 13 którą dostaniemy się na stare miasto. Samo Drezno bardzo nam się podobało do tego stopnia że planujemy już wyjazd w okresie letnim.
