Here’s what I love about staying here — you can walk to pretty much everything that matters in Dresden’s historic center. The Frauenkirche is just a few minutes away, and you know what? That morning stroll through the cobblestone streets never gets old. Couples seem to really appreciate this spot (they rate the location 8.7, which honestly makes sense), and I think it’s because there’s something romantic about being tucked away in the old town but still having easy access to restaurants and cafes. The fact that there’s private parking at the hotel is actually a huge deal — anyone who’s tried to park in Dresden’s city center will tell you that.

The Room Experience

The rooms at this four-star property have that comfortable, lived-in quality that makes you feel at home rather than like you’re staying in some sterile chain hotel. Each room feels thoughtfully put together — not overly fancy, but everything you need is there and it actually works properly.   If you look a more individual type of accomodation, for a cosy family owned hotel, THIS IS IT. The owner who welcomed me was lovely and even offered to make me a coffee when I arrived. My room was on the top floor with sloping ceiling it was no problem though as the room was big. The public areas in the entrance hall and first floor were furnished in a middle eastern style which I just loved. Everything very clean. small refrigerator in the room, tv etc. I prefer not to stay in boring chain hotels, they are like copies the world over. You could be anywhere.
  
  What could be improved: Sadly the wellness area and outside pool were not available for use, on asking I was told it was a staffing problem after the Corona period. I do hope that on my next visit it will be up and running. (would have loved a massage – had a bad leg problem). One thing that I MISSED very much was a small HOSPITALITY TRAY with a small kettle, portion coffee, tea in the room. Would have been nice.

  I liked interior a lot, really looked like a historical villa with old paintings and furniture. We had a big room with a big comfortable bed, nice lobby. Personnel was very friendly to us.

  The Villa was very nice. They have 2 pools: one indoors and one outdoors. The rooms are big and very comfortable. It is close to the city centre. Basically in front of the Groß Garten. We had a great time.
