limehome Dresden Jordanstraße Overview
So limehome Dresden Jordanstraße – honestly, this place surprised me in the best way. When I first walked up to 16 Jordanstraße, I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical because it’s tucked into this residential street in Neustadt, and you know how apartment-style hotels can be hit or miss. But the moment you step inside, there’s this clean, minimalist vibe that actually works – not sterile, just… thoughtfully simple.
The thing about staying here is you’re really living like a local in Neustadt, which is Dresden’s artsy, slightly bohemian district. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from Hauptstraße where all the quirky cafés and vintage shops are, and the whole area has this relaxed energy that’s completely different from the tourist crowds around the Old Town. The apartments themselves are properly equipped – and I mean actually equipped, not just a mini-fridge and calling it a kitchenette. We’re talking full-sized appliances, decent counter space, the works. Perfect if you want to grab some fresh bread from the bakery around the corner (there’s a fantastic one on Rothenburger Straße) and have a proper breakfast instead of hotel continental stuff.
What really sold me was the attention to detail without being fussy about it. The check-in process is all digital – which initially made me nervous because, well, what if something goes wrong? – but it’s genuinely seamless. You get your codes, the door opens, everything just works. The rooms are quiet too, which honestly shocked me given that you’re in the middle of a neighborhood. I stayed during a weekend in summer and barely heard any street noise, though the courtyard-facing rooms are probably your best bet if you’re a light sleeper. The Wi-Fi is actually fast enough to work from (I tested it, obviously), and there’s this nice balance of having hotel-level cleanliness and service but with the space and freedom of your own apartment. Only minor gripe – and this is really minor – is that the shower pressure could be a bit stronger, but the water gets properly hot and the bathroom setup is modern and functional. You’re also perfectly positioned to explore both sides of Dresden; the Neustadt station is close enough for easy trips across the Elbe to see the Frauenkirche and Semperoper, but you get to come home to this cooler, less touristy side of the city. That 8.6 rating makes total sense to me – it’s one of those places that does exactly what it promises, does it well, and doesn’t try to oversell itself.
Hotels in Dresden offer visitors the opportunity to stay in the heart of this cultural treasure, with easy access to world-renowned art collections and historic landmarks.

Very easy to communicate even when I decided I wanted a different apartment (bigger one). Love the check-in process, so easy. No keys just door code.
I don't think location could have been any better than this. It's on a quiet street, in a lovely courtyard, very quiet. But close to everything all 4 directions.
Loved that there were decent amenities – good hairdryer and iron + washing machine and dishwasher.

I choose limehome apartments whenever possible because of 2 reasons. First, you always know what to expect, it's always clean and one has basically the same furniture and amenities in each location. Second, the check-in procedure is always flawless and requires no interaction with anyone, so I can come to my accomodation as late as I wish. I also appreciated that they left me a reusable and portable coffee mug and a cotton bag as a present. This was a very thoughtful touch which made me feel even more welcomed.
