Sure, it’s not going to work if you need to stumble back from the Neustadt bars at 2 AM every night, but if you want to actually experience Dresden like someone who lives there – morning coffee while looking out at actual German neighborhood life, easy access to both the historic center and the Elbe riverfront, plus a host who’ll give you the kind of local recommendations that don’t show up in guidebooks – this is exactly the kind of place you book and then don’t tell too many people about because you want it to stay this good.
