Parking was straightforward, which… well, if you’ve tried to park anywhere near Dresden’s Altstadt, you’ll appreciate that more than you might think.

What really sells this place for me is the location strategy – you’re in Plauen, which means you can hop on the tram and be at Frauenkirche or the Zwinger in about twenty minutes, but when you come back in the evening, you’re returning to actual Dresden life, not tourist Dresden. The S-Bahn connections are solid if you want to explore beyond the city center, and there’s a decent supermarket within walking distance for those nights when you just want to cook something simple and drink wine on the balcony. The 8.9 rating makes sense when you experience it – it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything works exactly as it should, the place is spotlessly clean, and the value feels honest. I’d definitely book it again, especially if I was planning one of those longer stays where you want to settle in rather than just pass through.

  Door recensies had ik al gelezen dat er op de bel Böhner geduwd diende te worden. De mensen kennen enkel Duits, maar doen wel hun best om alles uit te leggen. Alsook heel kindvriendelijk; speciaal een babybed voorzien, ons zoontje mocht mee hun kat buiten eten geven etc. Voor de rest was het appartement net en proper, er was alles wat je nodig had. Eigen parkeerplaats zodat je niet op straat moest parkeren.
  
  What could be improved: Waterdruk in douche sloeg wel wat tegen. Je moest er ook opletten om niet te wild en te hard rond te wandelen in het appartement zodat andere bewoners er geen last van hadden, wat soms moeilijk was met een zoontje van 3 jaar.

  The home is in a perfect location reachable by tram and all hot spots to visit in Dresden reachable within 20 mins mostly by same tram. Netto was on the way from tram stop to home, hence buying necessaries made easy. Host Mr.Frank staying in the same building, handed over the key and walked us through home, facilities, garbage handling etc. They lived in that house so its well setup for a family with kids. The stove stopped working due to some electrical issues, but he immediately gave another one and sorted out. He is also doing orgonic gardening in the backyard where we can spend sometime with kids. All together it was a nice experience and we felt home away from home.
  
  What could be improved: Not a negative remark though, but a headsup for English-only travellers: Host speaks ONLY German. Dont worry, just go to the apartment and ring the bell tagged "F. Börner" and he will come with keys and everything will be taken care.

  Отличная экономия на расположении. Гораздо дешевле, чем в центре, а добираться недолго: 5 минут до трамвая №3 и 10-15 минут трамваем. Автобус 66 останавливается прямо у гостиницы, но ходит реже. На остановке трамвая (это конечная) отличный магазин. Сама квартира большая. Советская на вид, но есть всё, что нужно, отличный душ, хорошие кровати, укомплектованная кухня.
  
  What could be improved: Приехали и не знали, как получить ключ. Стояли под дверьми, пытались дозвониться, а автоответчик сказал "мы все уже ушли с работы, звоните завтра". Поизучав рекламу на стенде, нашли фамилию владельца и позвонили ему в дофомон (там кнопки подписаны). Кажется, Бомер или что-то такое.
  Нет чая, кофе, шампуня, геля для душа. Вай-фай слабоват.

  What could be improved: Der Besitzer kommt ohne Vorankündigung in die Wohnung rein!!!!!! Die Wohnung ist sehr kalt Wir mussten 2 Nächte komplett angezogen schlafen. Allso nicht zu empfehlen. Die Lüftung in der Wohnung kaum möglich, die Fenster sind sehr alt und es ist nicht möglich die zu öffnen. Die Badezimmer hat eine Glastür und der Eingang ist durch die Küche. Also jeder der in der Küche ist oder im Wohnzimmer darf denjenigen sehen, der grade im Badezimmer ist. Es zieht sehr stark durch das Eingangstür. Der Boden ist in der ganzen Wohnung mit Flisen belegt und super rutschig und kalt.

  Super und sehr freundliche Gastgeber, ruhige Lage trotzdem nur 150m von der Busstation entfernt der alle 20Minuten fährt. Netto zum einkaufen ist auch nur 400m weg.
