The setup is pretty much perfect for a group, actually. Two full bathrooms means you’re not doing that awkward dance around one tiny hotel bathroom with five other people, and the layout just… works. It’s not one of those places where someone gets stuck on a pull-out couch in the living room feeling like they drew the short straw. I mean, it’s still an apartment rental so don’t expect hotel-level service, but everything’s clean and functional in that reliable German way. The Neustadt location is really the selling point here though – you can walk to the riverfront in maybe ten minutes, but you’re also surrounded by all these little bars and cafes that aren’t completely overrun with tour groups. There’s this whole network of streets around Bischofsweg where you’ll find actual Dresdeners just living their lives, which sounds boring but makes the whole experience feel more authentic.

What surprised me most was how quiet it actually gets at night. Neustadt has this reputation for being the nightlife district (which it kind of is), but this particular stretch is residential enough that you’re not dealing with people stumbling home at 3 AM every night. Well, maybe on weekends, but that’s Dresden for you. The 9.3 rating makes sense when you think about it – it’s not luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. Plus, parking in this area isn’t the nightmare it could be, though I’d still recommend figuring that out before you arrive rather than driving around hoping for the best. If you’re traveling with a group and want to feel like you’re staying somewhere with actual character instead of some generic hotel chain, this place gets it right.

  What could be improved: Jedyne mankamenty, na które właściciel nie ma wpływu, to trochę strome schody, po których trzeba wejść na 2 piętro oraz dość duży dystans do autobusów i tramwajów.

  Wir kamen als eine Gruppe von vier Personen. Das Zimmer war mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht: WLAN, Fernsehgerät, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Bügeleisen und vieles mehr, was auf Reisen sehr wichtig ist. Die Wohnung ist gut aufgestellt, nicht zu weit von der Bushaltestelle weg, so dass man jedes Viertel der Stadt erreichen kann. Freundliche Vermieter, die alle Probleme schnell lösen können. Ich würde es weiterempfehlen!

  Sehr schöne Fewo in einem gepflegten Haus in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse, trotem direkt in der Neustadt. Gegenüber ist eine Bäckerei. Geschäfte, Cafés und Restaurants auch ein Park sind alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Am besten haben meiner Tochter die vielen Plattenläden der Neustadt gefallen. Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, viel gesehen und neue Eindrücke gesammelt.

  Very spacious apartment, cozy and comfortable, with all the facilities needed. We got a bottle of wine, very nice touch. The host was very communicative and gave clear and helpful instructions.
  Tram station was located to 13-15 min walking distance, you can take tram 7 directly to the center. Although the garage parking mentioned in other comments is not available anymore, there are several streets with free public parking, and with a bit of luck you can get a space right in front of the building.
