I could walk to the tram stops easily (the 6 and 13 lines are your friends here), and honestly, being a bit removed from Dresden’s main tourist crush was refreshing. The neighborhood itself feels lived-in and real – there’s a bakery about two blocks away where the locals actually go, not some tourist trap, and parking wasn’t the nightmare I’d braced myself for.

What really impressed me was how thoughtfully everything was set up inside. I’m talking about those little details that show someone actually lives in spaces like this and knows what travelers need – proper lighting for reading, enough outlets where you actually want to use them, a kitchen that’s equipped for more than just heating up leftovers. The whole place has this warm, residential feel that’s miles better than sterile hotel rooms, but everything works properly (you’d be surprised how rare that combination is). And look, a 9.2 rating doesn’t happen by accident – after spending time here, I get it. The owners clearly put thought into this beyond just “let’s rent out a space.” It’s quiet enough that you’ll actually sleep well, but you’re not isolated from everything interesting about the area. The S-Bahn connections into central Dresden are straightforward once you figure them out, and if you’re planning to explore beyond the city center – maybe hit up some of the smaller towns along the Elbe – this location actually makes more sense than staying right in the Altstadt anyway.

  Ausstattung ist sehr gut, alles da was benötigt wird.

  What could be improved: Wir benötigten nicht alle Schlafmöglichkeiten. Sollten diese aber alle genutzt werden, sollten Sie darauf achten, dass sich ein der Schlafmöglichkeit im Wintergarten befindet. Diesen kann man nicht vollständig abdunkeln.

  El apartamento es muy bonito, parte de un antiguo palacete señorial, con techos altos de madera y decorados. La cocina y el baño están completamente renovados y muy bien equipados. Las camas son cómodas, pero las almohadas no. Nosotros estuvimos 15 días en agosto y la mayoría del tiempo lo pasamos en el 'wintergarten', con grandes ventanales y acceso al jardín. Viajamos en coche y no tuvimos problema en aparcar cerca en la calle, aunque justo delante es zona de carga y descarga. Al llegar, nos recibió Dorothea, una mujer encantadora y amabilísima.
  
  What could be improved: La ubicación es relativamente alejada del centro, aunque no tiene lejos la Hautbahnhof. Nosotros optamos por alquilar bicicletas de uso compartido para movernos por la ciudad. Es importante recalcar que el apartamento no está situado en una zona tranquila. Justo al lado hay unos edificios altos de apartamentos, en cuyos patios se acumulan muchos niños jugando. Aunque las camas eran cómodas, las almohadas dejaban mucho que desear. Utilizamos algunos cojines para dormir más cómodos, pero, por ello recibimos un mensaje bastante desagradable de una de las administradoras (Daniela). La verdad es que nos molestó un poco el tono del mensaje.

  Da es ein beruflicher Aufenthalt war, wurde die Unterkunft unter dem Gesichtspunkt der Entfernung zum Arbeitsplatz gewählt und war den Erwartungen entsprechend.
  Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet, gegenüber ist ein Konsum, das paßt alles sehr gut.
