You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name makes it sound like just another generic apartment rental, but honestly, this spot on Cottaer Straße is something special. I mean, when you’re staying right in Dresden’s Altstadt and you’ve got your own garage – that’s already winning in my book. Most people don’t realize how much of a pain parking can be in this part of the city, especially during festival season or when the Christmas markets are going crazy.

The apartment itself feels properly modern without being sterile, if that makes sense. The kitchen actually works (I’ve stayed in too many places where the stovetop is more decorative than functional), and that balcony? Well, it’s not going to give you a postcard view of the Frauenkirche, but you get this nice slice of neighborhood life that I actually prefer. You can grab your morning coffee and watch Dresden wake up – there’s something really satisfying about that. The whole setup feels like someone who lives in Dresden designed it for people who want to live like locals for a week, not tourists rushing between attractions.

What really sold me on recommending this place is how it sits in the neighborhood. Cottaer Straße puts you close enough to walk to all the obvious spots – the Zwinger, the castle, the works – but you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups outside your window. It’s that sweet spot where you feel connected to the city but can actually get some sleep. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the building has good bones. Solid walls, proper insulation, none of that paper-thin nonsense where you hear every footstep from upstairs. The 9.6 rating makes total sense once you’ve spent a few nights there – it’s the kind of place that handles all the little details right, from decent water pressure to having enough outlets where you actually need them. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning one of those longer Dresden trips where you want to really settle in and explore beyond just hitting the major sights.

  Просторные апартаменты, обставлены со вкусом, есть все, что нужно для пребывания. Спасибо за подробную инструкцию для того, что бы попасть в апартаменты и воспользоваться гаражом.
  
  What could be improved: Резервация и чек-ин были сделаны на двух персон, но по какой-то причине нам подготовили полотенца и кровать только на одну персону. Хорошо, что в шкафу была дополнительная подушка и одеяло. Полотенца мы так и не нашли.
  В этот день в апартаментах было душновато.

  Traumhaft schönes Appartement im Herzen von Dresden! Toller Loft bzw. tolles Penthouse mit Aussicht, geräumig, gut ausgestattet, modern und angenehm. Geeignet für alle, die z.B. als Touristen in Dresden unterwegs sind. Man kann zu Fuß ca. 15 Minuten ins Zentrum laufen (mit Zwinger, Semperoper usw.) oder auch mit der Straßenbahn fahren, die nur 2 Minuten entfernt liegt. Im Umfeld in den Nachbarstraßen ist sogar noch kostenloses Parken den ganzen Tag über möglich. Sehr empfehlenswert, würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen, wenn ich in Dresden bin. Der Vermieter ist nett und hilfsbereit.

  Schöne luxuriöse geräumige Wohnung in der Nähe des Zentrums. Straßenbahn vor der Haustür und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten um.die Ecke.
  Sehr gute Ausstattung mit wirklich allem, was man braucht und alles sehr sauber und nett eingerichtet.
  Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen das Appartement gern weiter.

  Mieszkanie przestronne czyste gustownie urządzone. Gospodarz zadbał o wszelkie drobiazgi aby pobyt był komfortowy: kosmetyki w łazience łącznie ze szczoteczkami jednorazowymi i kapciami, świetne wyposażenie w kuchni: dwa ekspresy do kawy, kawa w kapsułkach i kawa sypana, telewizor z Apple TV. Rewelacyjny kontaktowy i pomocny gospodarz. Super panoramiczny widok z okna i balkon. Świetna lokalizacja mieszkania za rogiem przystanek tramwajowy, Lidl, Aldi, Dm, stacja benzynowa. Pieszo do zamku Zwinger niewiele ponad kilometr. To był świetny by pobyt:)
