The apartment itself is one of those places where the photos actually undersell it. The light situation is genuinely impressive, especially in the morning when it streams through those big windows and makes the whole space feel twice as large as it probably is. The folks running this place clearly get that travelers want comfort without the fuss – there’s proper blackout options for when you need to sleep off that late night exploring the Neustadt bars, but during the day it’s bright enough that you don’t need to flip on lights until evening. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays despite being on a fairly busy street. The Pieschen district has this interesting mix of residential calm and urban convenience that works surprisingly well. You’ve got the tram connections right there (the number 3 line is your friend for getting into the center), but you’re also walking distance to some genuinely good local spots that most tourists never discover. There’s this bakery about two blocks over that opens ridiculously early and makes these pretzels that honestly ruined me for airport pretzels forever.

The 8.9 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s not trying to be luxury, but everything actually works properly, which is rarer than it should be in vacation rentals. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, parking (if you need it) isn’t the nightmare it can be in Dresden’s center, and the whole setup feels like someone’s nice apartment that they’ve thoughtfully prepared for guests, not a corporate housing unit. I’d definitely recommend this if you want to experience Dresden like someone who actually lives here rather than just passing through – plus you’ll save money compared to the historic district hotels and probably sleep better too.

  The apartment is really good very clean. The best thing is it located very near to the tram stataion so easy to go to the city center. The place is very quite and once can have his peace.

  Very nice and fresh apartment. Silent neighborhood. Enjoyed the bath after a long drive.

  What could be improved: It was difficult to find the entrance at night when we arrived. The owner should review the instructions. But that is a tiny detail.
  I read previous reviews and was a bit skeptical about the remarks on the transparent curtains. But in reality, it was weird feeling that neighbors could see us in the apartment when it was dark outside. It was also not nice when a neighbor saw me in the kitchen not fully dressed when he took his bicycle under the window outside.

  Very nice place to stay in the beautiful city of Dresden with a little apartment like facilities at your disposal. The check-in was quite smooth as the host gave very clear instructions regarding picking up the keys, etc. The host was very quick to respond to all our queries. Good access to public transport nearby (stop "Hubertusplatz", approx. 200-300 m).

  Nice ground floor apartment in a quiet neighbourhood. Free parking spaces on the street in front of the door. Fully equipped kitchen, Internet TV and good WIFI available. Not far from the tram stop.
  
  What could be improved: Curtains are too thin. From outside it is possible to see inside if lights are on at night. (Lack of privacy)
