Here’s the thing about staying in Prohlis that the guidebooks won’t tell you: you’re actually positioned pretty smartly for exploring Dresden without dealing with tourist crowds every time you step outside. The tram connections are solid (though I’d grab a day pass – individual tickets add up fast), and you can be in the Altstadt in about twenty minutes. But more importantly, you’re living in an actual Dresden neighborhood where people go about their daily lives. There’s a decent bakery within walking distance, and the local grocery situation is way better than what you’ll find near the major sights. The area gets genuinely quiet at night – I could actually sleep with the windows open, which in a city center would be impossible with all the late-night revelers and early morning delivery trucks. Sure, it’s not Instagram-pretty like staying near the Frauenkirche, but that 9.5 rating makes perfect sense when you factor in the value and the fact that you’re getting authentic local living rather than tourist theater.

  Sehr gepflegt und sehr gut ausgestattet. Gute Kommunikation mit den Vermietern. Die Bushaltestelle ist zu Fuß in unter 10 Minuten zu erreichen , ebenso einige Supermärkte. Die Busfahrt zum Hauptbahnhof dauert nur 14 Minuten und von dort kann man durch die Fußgängerzone zur Altstadt laufen.

  Przestronny obiekt w miłej i spokojnej okolicy. Całe najwyższe piętro jest do dyspozycji gości wraz z prywatną kuchnią, łazienką, sypialnią i salonem. Świetny stosunek jakości do ceny. Wszystko było zgodne z opisem. Choć daleko do centrum miasta, podróż tramwajem do centrum trwa ok. 30 min. Świetna baza wypadowa, by zwiedzać Drezno!
  
  What could be improved: Droga piesza do obiektu z przystanku tramwajowego/autobusowego prowadzi przez ciemny park i szutrową drogę, jednak jest to także bardzo klimatyczne.
