The street itself – Mosczinskystraße – it’s one of those quiet residential roads that locals use as a shortcut, so you get this authentic neighborhood vibe without the tourist chaos. Honestly, I loved hearing actual German conversations from my window instead of tour groups marching by at 7 AM.

The apartment itself has this clean, minimalist design thing going on that actually works. Nothing fancy, but everything feels intentional – you know what I mean? The two rooms are laid out smartly, and whoever designed this place understood that travelers need space to spread out their stuff (thank god, because hotel rooms that force you to live out of a suitcase drive me crazy). The kitchen area is small but functional – I made coffee there every morning and it felt more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel. What really got me was the attention to small details: proper hangers in the closet, enough outlets near the bed, and decent wifi that actually worked when I needed to video call home. The 7.2 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it’s solid and comfortable without any major annoyances.

Here’s the thing about this part of Dresden that most people don’t realize – you’re close enough to walk everywhere during the day, but far enough from the main drag that evenings are actually peaceful. I could hear the trams rumbling by occasionally (which I found oddly comforting), but no drunk tourists stumbling around at midnight. Parking was… well, it’s Dresden city center, so don’t expect miracles, but there are spots if you’re patient. The check-in process was straightforward – they give you proper keys, not those finicky card things that never work when your hands are full of groceries. If you’re coming during Christmas market season, book way ahead because this area gets packed, but honestly? Being able to walk to Striezelmarkt in five minutes and then retreat to this quiet little space afterward – that’s exactly what you want.

  Good location, clean, quiet, well ventilated.
  
  What could be improved: We were told someone would meet us at 7pm but no-one came for 10mins at least. We couldn't access the lifts to get to the apartment; when we rang the apartment, she tried to buzz us in but it didnt work ( also observed this with a food deliverer). Luckily a resident came in and let us in so we were able to go up to the apartment.

  The location is great. 5 minutes from Hauptbahnof. Great view from the apartment. Hosts waited to greet us and give us all the details. Fairly clean apartment. I would definitely book again because of the location.

  Bardzo blisko jarmarku. Piękny widok z okna oraz możliwość wypicia kawy na balkonie. Fajną zaletą apartamentu jest też wanna. W zimie zawsze można sobie się wygrzać:)

  Location is great, 5min from station, 10-15 from main tourist sites and Christmas Market. Flat is indeed nicely decorated and contain items listed in the description.
  
  What could be improved: Cleaningness. Oh my God, it was disgusting!
  It started with the fridge which was very smelly and forced us to keep whatever few groceries we bought at the balcony in the cold, instead of inside of the fridge.
  The bathroom "looked clean", but after spotting a used razor blade in the shower it really made me think if it was clean at all. There was hair in the drain and in the razor itself still hanging at shampoo rack. So unhygienic and disrespectful.
  I've lived in Asia for over 20y and we have a habit of removing shoes as we enter our home, walking barefoot or in our socks inside, and so I did. Well, by the end of the night my socks were so dirty and full of long dark black hair that I threw the socks away (we all have very short light brown hair, so that's definitely not ours). That floor hasn't been vacuumed or mopped for days for sure. I reached out to the owner, which despite treating us respectfully, refused to accept his responsibility and even argued it was my fault bringing all that dust and hair (basically impossible, please read the other reviews, I should have done it before booking…anyway).
  The bedsheet lining was striped rainbows, they looked clean but they were definitely not ironed. The moment I saw them, I assumed they were changed and just not ironed, which is fine for me, I also just fold my sheets after washing them. However after all those things put together, it made me wonder if they were ever changed before my stay previously used…
  One more suspicious item, the building is very much like public housing or college housing provided by the government, the official residence is under "Pham" (a very common Vietnamese name) and the person who received us Mr/Mrs Phoung seems to running an illegal sublet, which I'll also report to the Dresden city hall. Those conditions are basically unacceptable, especially considering a daily rate of EUR 229/night.
