It’s not trying to be flashy or impress you with marble lobbies (there isn’t really a traditional lobby anyway), but the rooms are surprisingly spacious and thoughtfully designed. I stayed in one of their apartments, and the kitchen was actually functional – not one of those token kitchenettes where you can barely boil water. The whole setup feels more like staying at a really organized friend’s place than a typical hotel, which explains that impressive 9.4 rating. The staff clearly pays attention to details that matter, like having decent Wi-Fi throughout and keeping common areas genuinely clean, not just surface-clean.

What really won me over was the location once I figured out how to work it. Sure, you’re about 20 minutes from Dresden’s Altstadt by tram, but that S-Bahn connection from nearby gets you into the city center pretty efficiently. And honestly, after spending your days wandering around the Frauenkirche and dealing with tourist crowds, coming back to this quiet neighborhood feels like a relief. There’s a decent bakery just a few streets over on Königsbrücker – I grabbed coffee there most mornings – and the whole area has this lived-in feel where you see actual Dresdeners going about their daily lives. Plus, if you’re flying in or out, the airport is practically next door, which is clutch if you have early flights or heavy luggage.

The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable in that German efficiency way – nothing fancy, but everything works properly and there’s enough space to actually unpack your suitcase. I appreciated the blackout curtains (seriously underrated in hotels) and the fact that the heating controls were intuitive. My only minor gripe was that the walls are a bit thin, so you might hear your neighbors if they’re early risers, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. For a 3-star place, they’ve really nailed the balance between keeping costs reasonable and not cutting corners on the stuff that actually affects your stay. If you’re looking for something authentic and practical rather than Instagram-perfect, and you don’t mind being slightly off the beaten path, this place delivers way beyond what you’d expect for the price point.

  Es war sehr sauber. Sehr nette Vermieter. Die Ausstattung war top und es ist alles sehr modern. Es gibt Jalousien, sehr gut wenn man es zum schlafen komplett dunkel mag. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut.
