Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from limehome Dresden Antonstraße when I first walked up to the building on Antonstrasse – it’s one of those modern apartment-style hotels that can go either way, you know? But this place actually surprised me. The whole setup feels more like borrowing a friend’s really well-organized flat than staying in some generic hotel room, which I mean, is exactly what you want when you’re trying to get a feel for living in Dresden rather than just passing through.

The location is what really sold me on this place, though. You’re right in Neustadt, which – if you haven’t been – is basically the cooler, artier side of Dresden across the Elbe from all the tourist crowds around the Frauenkirche. I could walk to Hauptstraße in about three minutes, where there’s this whole strip of bars and cafes that locals actually go to, not just tour groups. And here’s something nobody tells you about staying in Neustadt: you can walk across the Augustus Bridge to the old town in maybe fifteen minutes, but you get to come home to a neighborhood that doesn’t shut down at 6 PM. The tram connections are solid too – the Albertplatz stop is close enough that I never bothered figuring out the bus routes.

What I really appreciated was how they’ve thought through the small stuff that makes a difference when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a night or two. The kitchenette actually has everything you need (decent knives, real plates, not plastic nonsense), and the grocery stores on Hauptstraße mean you can grab ingredients for breakfast without planning your whole day around it. The Wi-Fi held up fine even when I was on video calls – which honestly can be hit or miss in these apartment-style places. One thing though: the walls aren’t super thick, so if you’re a light sleeper, maybe pack earplugs. It’s not terrible, but you’ll hear your neighbors if they’re having a good time. The area itself isn’t particularly noisy – Antonstrasse is more residential than the main drag – but weekend nights can get a bit lively since you’re still in the heart of Neustadt’s nightlife area. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward with their digital system, no awkward small talk required if that’s not your thing. And at an 8.8 rating, I’d say that’s pretty spot-on – it’s not luxury, but it does exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises.

  Very spacious, clean, elegant apartment with all necessary one might need. We were very happy to find a baby bed, we didn't ask for and to get an early check-in and late check-out. The communication with staff was very quick and efficient. Location couldn't be better, close to the train station, to tram stops, walkable distance to anywhere, grocery stores etc are at the corner. All this made our stay really pleasant and enjoyable, i wish to be back!

  Very cute apartment, newly renovated, with Scandi touch, beautiful furniture and Decor. Great location, 3 min walk from Dresden Neustadt station and 5 min walk from Neustadt center with tons of cute cafes, shops and restaurants. 15-20 min walk from old city. Very clean. We enjoyed our stay a lot, and I would book it again, if I would be back in Dresden.
  
  What could be improved: The apartments are run by a company with a centralized support service. We missed a minor thing in the apartment, so I tried to contact them via booking – 5 different people replied to my 5 messages, and the every new person couldn't access my previous message, so I had to repeat the story again and again. Finally we found a solution, because seems like they had only one guy at the night shift, and he finally managed to help. I hope the company will fix it, as we could resolve my request in 5 minutes, but it required half day.
