It’s one of those places where the owners clearly put thought into the details – you’ll notice it in things like the way they’ve arranged the common areas and how the rooms actually feel lived-in rather than sterile. The 9.1 rating isn’t just inflated booking site nonsense; people genuinely seem to love staying here. I get it too, because there’s something refreshing about being in Leuben instead of fighting the tourist crowds around Frauenkirche every time you step outside. You’re still close enough to hop on public transport into Dresden proper (actually pretty convenient once you figure out the tram lines), but you get to experience what it feels like to stay in a real Dresden neighborhood where locals are just going about their day.

What really sells this place, honestly, is that balance between being a proper 4-star spot without all the pretentious stuff. The rooms are genuinely comfortable – I’m talking good beds, decent space to spread out your things, and bathrooms that don’t make you feel like you’re in a hostel. But it’s not trying to be some fancy boutique hotel either. There’s parking (which, let me tell you, is worth its weight in gold if you’re driving around Dresden), and the whole check-in process was refreshingly straightforward. The staff actually knows the area too – not just the obvious tourist spots, but where to grab good coffee in the morning or which bakery the locals prefer. You know those little conversations that make you feel like you’re getting insider info rather than rehearsed recommendations? That’s what you get here. Mornings are particularly nice because the neighborhood is quiet – no tour buses rumbling past at 7 AM – but you’re not isolated either.   Tolles Haus, super Ausstattung für viele Personen.

  What could be improved: Das wir die Wohnstube & die Küche inkl Kühlschrank erst säubern mussten vor der Nutzung. Bei dem Preis pro Nacht war das leider enttäuschend.
  Die Schlaf-Zimmer hingegen waren sauber.

  Super für große Gruppen und Familien. Von allem war genug da (Geschirr, Besteck, Spielzeug für alle Altersklassen, etc.), die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und haben bei Fragen immer schnell geantwortet.

  Wszystko. Mili Gospodarze, uroczy dom. Nigdy nie widziałam tak wyposażonego domu pod wynajem. O jakimkolwiek sprzęcie nie pomyślałam, po prostu był. Na koniec przyszła pani Gospodyni z ciastem i podziękowała za pobyt. Miłe wrażenia.

  Das Haus ist gut durchdacht und liebevoll eingerichtet mit allem, was man braucht.
  Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
  Der Pool war toll, besonders bei den Sommertemperaturen. Uns hat es allen sehr gut gefallen.

  It was spacious. It was very nice decorated, had modern furniture, very nice kitchen with everything you might need and even AC in the bedrooms upstairs. We had loots of fun with our family. The kids loved the pool and downstairs playroom.

  Die Aufteilung der Zimmer und die Größe des Hauses war ideal für uns ( 3 Pärchen u. 2 Kinder). Durch die 3Etagen hatte jeder Platz für sich. Die Küche und der Wohn – Essbereich waren gemütlich und ein schöner zentraler Bereich.
  
  What could be improved: Wenn wir uns noch etwas wünschen hätten können, wäre eine Dusche im EG Bad und eine Toilette beim unteren Schlafzimmer schön gewesen.
