Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a place with such a long German name, but Supreme City Dream actually lives up to the hype – and that 9.2 rating isn’t just inflated booking site nonsense. The moment you walk into this 110-square-meter apartment on Bauhofstraße, you get why people rave about it.

The location is what really makes this place shine, and I mean that in the most practical way possible. You’re right in Dresden’s Altstadt, which sounds touristy until you realize you can literally walk to the Frauenkirche in about eight minutes without dealing with any of the main tourist crowds on Prager Straße. The street itself – Bauhofstraße – is one of those quiet cobblestone lanes that feels authentically Dresden without being precious about it. And here’s the thing that actually matters: they have dedicated parking, which if you’ve ever tried to park in Dresden’s old town, you know is basically like finding gold. No circling blocks for twenty minutes or paying ridiculous daily rates at some sketchy lot.

The apartment itself feels genuinely spacious – not that fake spacious you get from wide-angle listing photos. The terrace is probably the highlight, honestly. It’s not huge, but it catches the afternoon sun perfectly, and there’s something really satisfying about having your morning coffee out there while listening to the city wake up below. The whole place has this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake – good kitchen knives that actually cut things, a shower with proper water pressure, and internet that doesn’t cut out every time someone in the building turns on a hairdryer. You know, the stuff that matters when you’re actually staying somewhere for more than one night.

What surprised me was how quiet it gets at night, considering you’re in the heart of the city. The building seems solid – those thick European walls, I guess – and by 10 PM it’s peaceful enough that you’ll actually sleep well. During the day, though, you’ve got everything within walking distance. The Christmas market in winter is literally around the corner, and in summer the Elbe riverfront is close enough that you can take evening walks along the water without it feeling like a major expedition. There’s also a decent bakery two streets over on Schloßstraße that opens early and makes proper German bread, not the tourist stuff.

The only minor thing – and this is barely worth mentioning – is that the check-in process involves meeting someone with keys rather than a front desk situation, so you’ll want to coordinate your arrival time. But honestly, that’s pretty standard for these kinds of places, and the host was straightforward about timing when I booked. For what you get – the space, the location, that terrace, and especially the parking – it’s actually solid value for Dresden. I’d definitely stay here again, which is really the test that matters.

  Eine sehr schöne Wohnung zentral gelegen und mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten(Lidl,Aldi,dm) direkt vor der Nase.Sehr Nahe am Bahnhof und allen wichtigen Straßen -und S-Bahnhaltestellen und fußläufig zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten.Tolle Ausstattung,sehr gemütlich.Wir wurden von einem gefüllten Kaffevollautomaten begrüßt.Die Küchenausstattung war auch sehr gut.Wir waren Anfang Februar da und es war sehr kalt draußen.In der Wohnung war es überall mollig warm.Eine sehr schöne neue Wohnung mit moderner Ausstattung.Wir alle haben uns sehr,sehr wohl gefühlt und würden die Wohnung immer wieder buchen.Das einchecken und auschecken lief auch super leicht und für alle,die mit dem Auto fahren,gibt es einen Parkplatz in der hauseigenen Garage.Wir alle waren begeistert und bedanken uns ganz herzlich für die Gastfreundschaft.

  Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, großes Badezimmer
  Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, selbst Kaffeebohnen waren da
  Trotz der Lage an der Bahn, angenehm ruhig. Insgesamt ein sehr leises Haus.
  
  What could be improved: In der Beschreibung war nicht erkennbar, dass es nur eine Dusche gibt und das andere nur eine Gästetoilette ist. Für 2 Nächte mit 6 Erwachsenen war es trotzdem gut machbar.

  Ładny, przestronny apartament, wszystko co potrzebne jest na miejscu. Blisko sklepy spożywcze, przystanek s bane, jak i tramwajowy. W łatwy i szybki sposób można dotrzeć na starówkę. Blisko tory kolejowe, ale dobrze wyciszone okna dają ciszę.
