B OUR GUEST at NEW Vintage Chic Apartment Overview

Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “B OUR GUEST at NEW Vintage Chic Apartment,” I thought it might be one of those overly cute places that’s all style and no substance. But walking up to that second floor spot on Rudolfstraße, I actually got excited. The building has this understated elegance that screams old Dresden without trying too hard, you know? And being right in Neustadt – well, that’s where you want to be if you’re not into the super touristy vibe of the Altstadt but still want to walk everywhere that matters.

The apartment itself really nails that vintage chic thing they’re going for. I mean, they’ve got these gorgeous high ceilings (typical for this area, but still impressive) and original hardwood floors that creak just enough to feel authentic without being annoying. The furniture is this perfect mix of restored vintage pieces and modern comfort – like, you’ll actually want to hang out on that velvet sofa, not just admire it. What really got me though was the kitchen. It’s small, sure, but everything works properly, and there’s this great little breakfast nook by the window where you can watch Neustadt wake up with your coffee. Speaking of which, the coffee situation is legit – they’ve got a proper machine, not some sad instant stuff.

The location honestly makes this place. You’re maybe a three-minute walk from Kunsthofpassage (those amazing courtyards with the musical drain pipes), and the whole Outer Neustadt scene is right at your doorstep. I spent most evenings just wandering around discovering new bars and restaurants – there’s this incredible little wine place called Weinwirtschaft that locals pack into, just two blocks away. The 8.9 rating makes total sense when you factor in that you can stumble home from anywhere in the district, but you’re also just fifteen minutes on foot to cross the Elbe and hit the major sights. Parking can be tricky (it’s street parking, and Germans are serious about their parking rules), but honestly, you won’t need a car once you’re settled in. The tram connections are solid if you want to venture further out. One small thing – the building’s entrance is a bit unmarked, so keep an eye out for the address number, but that’s pretty typical for converted residential buildings in this area. It’s definitely more of a “live like a local” experience than a hotel, which I loved, but just know what you’re signing up for.

Hotels near me in Dresden offer convenient access to the historic Altstadt, where guests can easily walk to the Zwinger Palace, Semperoper, and other architectural masterpieces.

Reviews of B OUR GUEST at NEW Vintage Chic Apartment

  • Awesome – Aditya from Germany – April 15, 2025 (10/10)

The apartment is very beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much. Well equipped kitchen makes this top in the town.

  • Wonderful – Agarwal from Finland – September 4, 2024 (9/10)

The location of the apartment was really good. It is adjecent to Neustadt railway station and tram station is also very near. Overall a good stay.

What could be improved: It was a bit noisy in the nights when the windows were open. Since the temperature was high it would have been good if they had extra fans.

  • Will be coming back again! 🙂 – Esther from Germany – August 18, 2024 (9/10)

Love the space, the location – walking distance to Louisenstrasse where all the cafes and restaurants were located. Also good cafes nearby within blocks. Love the VG Bio Cafe by the playground, helped a lot during this stay esp with kids 🙂

What could be improved: We stayed almost a week but if there was no washing machine/dryer, especially to wash the towels. but all necessities were provided so all good.

  • Wonderful – Katrin from New Zealand – August 8, 2024 (9/10)

Great place to stay, close to all amenities, roomy, and wow, 3 different ways to make coffee, thank you

What could be improved: Not sure about some of the pictures on the wall, not appropriate for kids…

  • Exceptional – Olga from Israel – July 4, 2024 (10/10)

Nice and stylish apartments in a quiet area, close to the train station.
The apartment has a huge and luxurious bathroom, and the kitchen has everything you need, very clean and beautiful.

  • Perfect apartment – Filip from Poland – April 20, 2024 (10/10)

Apartament with style, near the Neustadt train station, from which it is very close to the old town or other nearby trip destinations. It was very spacious with everything you need.

  • Great place to stay in Dresden to see different locations apart from the city center – Olena from Poland – December 27, 2023 (8/10)

Nice apartment in the decent location, everything you need for the comfort stay. We enjoyed the cozy place and communication with the hosts. Thank you so much!

What could be improved: The tap in the shower requires some courage to get used to 😉 but hosts share the detailed instructions, so it’s ok.

  • Colour for your Life – Juha-pekka from Finland – June 19, 2023 (9/10)

Spacious, colourful and clean apartment in good location near to train station. Practical information from host was good.

What could be improved: If something negative has to be said: Kitchen is small for real cooking.
