You can sleep with the windows open without dealing with tram noise all night, which is honestly rare in Dresden. The ÖPNV connection they brag about? It’s legit. There’s a tram stop basically around the corner that gets you to Neustadt in maybe ten minutes, and from there you’re golden for reaching anywhere in the city center. I actually timed it once – door to Frauenkirche in under 25 minutes, including the walk.

What really got me was how the owner clearly knows what travelers actually need. There’s proper counter space in the kitchen (you’d be shocked how many German apartments skip this), decent water pressure in the shower, and – this is key – reliable WiFi that doesn’t cut out every time someone uses the microwave. Parking can be a bit of a hunt on the street, but there’s usually something within a block or two, and honestly, you probably won’t need your car much once you’re settled in. The whole Pieschen area has this lived-in, residential vibe that feels more authentic than staying right in the Altstadt tourist bubble. You’ve got actual neighborhood bakeries and corner shops, plus the Elbe’s just a short walk away if you want to do the riverside stroll thing. With a 9.3 rating, I was expecting maybe some overhyped situations, but it really does deliver on being a solid, no-nonsense base for exploring Dresden – especially if you prefer feeling like a temporary local rather than just another tourist checking boxes.

  Die Wohnung ist mit wunderschönen Materialien gestaltet (Holz, Kacheln) und stilvoll eingerichtet. Sie hat eine gute Anbindung an die Verkehrssysteme und liegt nah zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und zugewandt. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass er ein echtes Interesse an unserem Wohlbefinden in der Wohnung hatte.

  Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und hübsch eingerichtet. Der kontaktlose Check-in hat reibungslos funktioniert und wir fanden alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit vor. Die Lage ist zwar nicht so zentral, dafür aber sehr ruhig und per Tram und S-Bahn trotzdem sehr gut angebunden.
