The airport is super close — I mean, really close, like 10 minutes — but surprisingly, you don’t hear much aircraft noise. There’s free private parking on site, which is honestly a godsend if you’re driving around Saxony or doing day trips to places like Meissen.

Here’s where Point Hotel really shines — the variety. You can book a standard hotel room or go for one of their apartment-style units with a proper kitchenette. I stayed in one of the apartments, and it felt like having my own little place in Dresden for a few days. The kitchenette isn’t just for show either — full-size fridge, decent stovetop, all the basics you need if you want to grab groceries and cook something simple. The beds are comfortable (not too soft, not too firm), and there’s actually enough storage space, which you know isn’t always a given.

The free parking thing really can’t be overstated — finding parking in German cities is usually a nightmare and expensive to boot. WiFi works well throughout the building, and the breakfast spread is solid without being fancy. There’s no on-site restaurant for dinner, but honestly, that pushes you to explore the local dining scene, which is part of the fun anyway. The front desk folks are helpful with recommendations, and they actually know the area well enough to suggest places that aren’t just tourist traps.

  The venue was good, the room was so neat and clean.

  Sometimes it will get locked and not only me, other people were also unable to open that main door (after inserting the same key code provided in the email).
  2. No house keeping staffs came for cleaning toilet, for all 6/7 days, it was same.

  What could be improved: There's no hot water in the bathroom during the whole second day of our stay(and half of our 1st day), that was strange because in the kitchen we had hot water, seems like there are 2 different pipes lines in the hotel. We reported the issue, and they said that technician should arrive and solve that problem, but we actually didn't check if the hot water came, because we had to check out.
  
  Second is very difficult check in system and actually settling in process – information about the room hard to find in my personal cabinet, and even figure out where's our room in the hotel was a real quest 🙂 every guest facing this problem, you probably have to record a better video guide for your guests 🙂

  After reading some of the reviews i was a bit apprehensive but we found the apartment room absolutely perfect for our needs. There was a little confusion with getting in but the online team were fast and replied quickly. The room was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable, with some nice little extras that were not expected. The hot water worked fine for all of us, as did all of the other kitchen / bathroom amenities. There was also a good little restaurant / bar (Mex) over the road which had good affordable food and friendly staff, and a lovely bakery next door for the morning. Also there was a Lidl not far for supplies for our onward trip.
  
  What could be improved: We accessed the building through the underground car park so there could have been better directions once in the building, or clearer instructions as to exactly where your room is, as ours was outside. Then again, this was probably our fault as we should have reviewed more carefully all the material and videos sent beforehand, as all information was there!

  What could be improved: Check in online a little bit complicated
  150 euro deposit was neccessary during online check in – no earlier notification about this. I paid for.the stay and then i did the check in and had to.give another 150 euros. Would be better if this is mentioned before booking
