The kitchen is properly equipped (not just a mini-fridge and coffee maker situation), and there’s this great natural light that streams in during the morning hours. You know what’s really nice? The free parking spot. I mean, if you’ve ever tried to park in Dresden’s old town, you’ll understand why this is basically gold. Most places either don’t offer parking or charge you €15-20 per night for the privilege.

The location is where this place really shines, though. You’re positioned perfectly between the Elbe River and all the main sights – Frauenkirche, Semperoper, the whole rebuilt baroque district. But here’s the thing locals know: Freiberger Straße is just far enough from the main tourist drag that you’re not dealing with crowds of tour groups walking past your windows at 7 AM. I actually enjoyed my morning coffee watching regular Dresdeners heading to work instead of listening to guided tour commentary in six languages. The street has this nice residential feel with a few local cafés and that excellent little bakery (Bäckerei Müller) about two blocks down – their Stollen is legitimately better than the tourist-trap versions you’ll find near the Christmas markets. Evenings are beautifully quiet, which surprised me given how central you are. The building seems well-insulated because I barely heard any street noise, even with the windows cracked open on warmer nights.

What really sold me on the experience was the attention to small details – good water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block light, reliable WiFi throughout the space. The check-in process was smooth (they send you digital codes, very efficient), and when I had a minor question about the heating, someone responded within an hour. It’s that 9.3 rating showing through in practice, you know? This isn’t a place trying to wow you with marble lobbies or concierge services – it’s just thoughtfully done accommodation that makes you feel settled rather than like you’re camping out somewhere temporary.

  Labai geri apartamentai, buvo viskas ko reikia apsistojimui ir pagyvenymui. Jausmas lyg būtum namie. Miesto centras vos už 10 minučių pėščiomis tada nėra sunku aplankyti visas norimas vietas.
  
  What could be improved: Nepažymėta, kad parkingas tik lauke ir sofa jau gerokai išsėdėta, tad ant jos sėdėti nebuvo labai malonu, bet tikrai nemanome kad buvo didelė problema kadangi vietos atsisėsti tikrai bute pakankamai.

  The apartment was extremely spacious (more than in the photos). Location was great – easy to get there from the train station and a short walk to the best sights in the city! We loved how quiet the apartment building was and had plenty of space for myself and four friends traveling together. Having 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was excellent. Netflix on the TV was a bonus to watch some historical documentaries of the area! We would definitely stay again!
