The moment I walked into this 112 square meter space on the 5th floor, I actually said “oh wow” out loud (embarrassing, but true). The place has this modern, lived-in feel that doesn’t scream “rental property,” and honestly, the views over the Altstadt rooftops are something you’d pay extra for at a fancy hotel.

What really sold me was all the little things that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The kitchen isn’t just for show – I mean, there’s proper counter space and decent cookware, which is rare. The parking spot they throw in? Pure gold if you’ve ever tried to find street parking in Dresden’s center on a Saturday night. I was skeptical about being on the 5th floor (no elevator mentioned in my booking), but the building’s actually well-maintained and the climb isn’t bad – plus you’re literally a three-minute walk from Neumarkt and the Frauenkirche. The location is sort of perfect, actually – you’re right in the thick of things but Marienstraße itself is pretty quiet, especially in the evenings when the tourist crowds thin out.

Here’s the thing that surprised me most: the place feels genuinely comfortable, not just Instagram-pretty. The bed’s actually good (I’m picky about this), there’s proper blackout capability for the windows, and the shower has decent pressure – small victories that make a huge difference. The 9.4 rating isn’t just people being nice; it’s earned. Sure, you’ll hear some street noise during the day since you’re in the heart of old town, but that’s kind of the point, right? You’re staying where the action is. I’d definitely book this again, and I rarely say that about vacation rentals. The combination of space, location, and that elusive “feels like home” quality is pretty hard to find, especially with your own parking spot in Dresden’s center.

  Everything! The customer relations were great, super friendly and we were welcomed with a small bottle of prosecco. The flat is simply stunning and has everything one could wish for: fully equipped kitchen, dining table, bathtub and shower, huge tv screen comfortable beds and two balconies. The location is excellent too. Really enjoyed our stay and could not have chosen a better place to stay!

  It's a very good apartment in a very good localisation. Many types of shops, sights and public transport stations in the nearby. Deep garage is very good. And the woman in the call center of the apartment was very helpful!

  Brilliant and safe location. There is a supermarket, a pharmacy, a bakery, a shopping mall within 1~2 minutes walk. Easy access with trams or by on foot to most of the touristic spots. Large space. Bed is comfortable. The responses and actions from the property managing group were adequate according to solving the problem of the shower drainer blockage problem.
  
  What could be improved: It would be more practical if there is a table or a shelf in both rooms and also a shelf in the bathroom for travellers putting their personal travelling utensils or small things. It seems that a group of people are managing the apartment business, and my message was not being shared among the group in order to handle my arrival. Before my arrival, I informed to the managing group that I could not make SMS for the access of the apartment before because the sim card I had served me internet only. But at my arrival, I had to explain it again and waited under the sun for entering the building. Another matter is that please make sure which tenants you write messages to because we were being misunderstood that the light at the terrace was on all the time.
