The apartment sits on Franziska-Tiburtius-Straße, which honestly sounds more intimidating than it is – it’s just a peaceful street lined with those classic Dresden buildings that somehow survived everything history threw at this city. What I loved is that you’re close enough to walk into the old town (maybe 20 minutes if you don’t mind the slight uphill trek back), but far enough away that you’re not dealing with tour groups outside your window.

That terrace they mention? It’s actually massive, and I mean properly large – not one of those tiny European balconies where you can barely fit a chair. I spent most evenings out there with a beer from the local Edeka, watching the light change over the river valley. The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile rental property. The Netflix setup works seamlessly (thank god, because German TV after 9 PM is… well, it’s an acquired taste), and there’s proper underground parking which – trust me on this – is worth its weight in gold in Dresden. Street parking around here can be a nightmare, especially during festival season.

  Reality nice apartment with everything you need. Enough space for the five of us. We especially liked the warm atmosphere – we definitely felt welcome and home. Everything was clean and lovingly prepared.
  
  What could be improved: The parking slot was way smaller than expected. Our SUV hardly fit into it. If a second car would have parked next to us, it would have been impossible to get in or out of the car. It would be nice to mention that in your description.
