You know what? I was honestly expecting just another generic business apartment when I first walked up to Number 23 on Lößnitzstraße, but this place actually surprised me. The building itself sits right in the heart of Neustadt – and I mean the real Neustadt, not the touristy Outer Neustadt part where everyone goes for the nightlife. This is more residential, which means you get that authentic Dresden neighborhood feel without someone practicing guitar at 2 AM in the apartment above the döner shop.
The apartment has this lived-in quality that I really appreciated – like someone actually thought about what business travelers need instead of just throwing together IKEA furniture and calling it a day. The kitchen setup is proper functional (you can actually cook a real meal if you want to skip the restaurants for a night), and honestly, the Wi-Fi was faster than what I have at home. The bed situation is solid too – none of that rock-hard European mattress nonsense that leaves you walking like a pretzel the next morning. I mean, it’s still a 3-star place so don’t expect thread counts that make you weep with joy, but you’ll sleep well enough. The heating actually works efficiently too, which matters more than you’d think during Dresden winters when that Elbe wind cuts right through you.
What really sold me on this spot was the location intelligence – you’re about a 10-minute walk from the Neustadt train station, which connects you to everything, but you’re also walking distance from some of the better local spots that tourists never find. There’s this bakery on the corner of Görlitzer that does these incredible Streuselkuchen, and you’re close enough to the Elbe that you can actually jog along the river path in the mornings without having to navigate through crowds of tour groups. The 8.9 rating makes complete sense once you settle in for a few days – it’s not flashy or Instagram-perfect, but everything just works the way it should. Parking can be a bit tricky (street parking mostly, and you know how that goes), but if you’re here on business, you’re probably not renting a car anyway. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward small talk while they try to upsell you on breakfast packages you don’t want.

Super Lage: man läuft max.5 Minuten vom Bahnhof Dresdner Neustadt. Trotzdem ist die Wohnung absolut ruhig.Viele Cafés und d Restaurants in der Nähe.Wohnung ist modern und zweckmäßig eingerichtet.Es ist alles da, was man braucht, alles war sauber.

Small but cozy apartment near the center of Dresden. Suprisingly quiet and calm given it is in the middle of an housing complex and near a train station. The apartment has everything you would realistically need over staying there for few nights. Close to a supermarket and well commuted to the city center. Host is friendly and provides a lot of informations up front.
What could be improved: Depending on the time of the day, finding a parking spot might take a solid minute or two. The kitchen doesnt't have an over nor an microwave, althrough everything else that is needed is present. Location – very near the train station, new building, very nice balcony overlooking the courtyard with trees, 4th floor with a new elevator. The street is quiet and safe. For shopping – Lidl is 5 minutes away.
Amenities – the apartment has everything you want, kitchen annex is fully equipped (very nice coffeee machine and there even was coffee and filters to use). The bed is very comfortable. There are also extra blankets and blackout courtains on windows for comfortable sleep. Wi Fi works very well. Near the bed there is a cool lamp with USB charging points. Extra points for the folding table and two extra chairs.
Easy contact with the owner and simple clear instructions.

Although the apartment is located near the train station, the place itself is very quiet and nice. Everything was as advertised, clean and comfy. It's a fine spot to stay at if you want to see Dresden.
