Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “New business apartment Nr.20,” I was expecting something pretty sterile and corporate. But this little place on Lößnitzstraße actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s tucked into Dresden’s Neustadt district, which honestly is where you want to be if you’re not into the super touristy vibe of the Old Town across the river.

The apartment itself feels like someone actually thought about how people live, you know? Not just how hotels think people should live. The kitchen isn’t just for show – I mean, you can actually cook a proper meal here, and there’s enough counter space that you won’t go crazy trying to prep anything. The whole setup screams “designed by someone who’s traveled and gotten frustrated with tiny hotel rooms.” Walking around Neustadt, you’ll quickly realize why having a proper base matters. This neighborhood has this great mix of art galleries, vintage shops, and cafes that locals actually frequent – not just tourist traps. You’re maybe a ten-minute walk from Hauptstraße, where things get properly lively, especially on weekends. The tram connections are solid too, though I found myself walking most places because, well, Dresden’s just not that big.

What really sold me on the place was the little details that suggest the owners actually use feedback. The shower has decent water pressure (you’d be amazed how rare this is), the wifi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and there are enough power outlets that you’re not constantly unplugging things. Sure, it’s a 3-star place, so don’t expect luxury finishes or someone to carry your bags, but the 8.5 rating makes sense when you realize it’s just… competent. Everything works the way it should. The street itself is pretty quiet – mostly residential with some small businesses – so you’re not dealing with party noise, but you’re close enough to the action that you can stumble home from a late dinner without paying for a taxi. I stayed during spring, and honestly, opening the windows to get that fresh air without city chaos was pretty nice. If you’re the type who needs a concierge and room service, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want a genuine slice of how people actually live in Dresden, with the freedom to come and go as you please and maybe cook breakfast instead of paying hotel prices for mediocre eggs? Yeah, this works really well.

  Günstig, direkt beim Bahnhof Neustadt, gelegenes Apartment. Schlüsselübergabe erfolgte durch sehr freundlichen Gastgeber. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Ausstattung war für mich völlig ausreichend. Erfreulich fand ich, dass Kaffee und Filtertüten, sowie andere Basics für die Küche wie Öl da waren.

  современный очень творческий район, недалеко от станции вокзала neustadt, хороший ремонт, абсолютно идеальная чистота, все удобства и даже чуть больше, чем нужно, всё всё всё супер!!

  Wohnung war zentral, sehr sauber,alles da was man benötigt. Haus ,Treppenhaus und Hof sehr ordentlich,ruhige Anlage.Schlüsselübergabe hat gut geklappt,man muss nur am Briefkasen das sehr kleine Zahlenschloss erkennen und einstellen.
  
  What could be improved: Umgebung ist eben Neustadt (Graffiti). Parkmöglichkeit in der Nähe so gut wie nicht möglich!!! Wohnung war sehr warm,bei offenen Fenster nachts sehr laute Autogeräusche durch Strassenpflaster.Wenig Kleiderbügel für längeren Aufenthalt vorhanden.Bett sehr schmal.

  Very good apartment with convenient location (close to Neustat Banhof, LIDL, bars and stores). The apartment was very clean and accessible (on fourth floor with elevator) and had an easy to use cooling and heating system. Kitchen was fully equipped and the TV had Amazon Prime, which was a fun bonus. Overall recommended.
  
  What could be improved: As of now, there is some construction work in the neighbor building which can be heard during the week days. There was no washing machine as was suggested.

  Location was great. Close to trams and Neustadt Bahnhof. Close walking distance to bars and restaurants.

  The arrival and access to the apartment were seamless and efficient, making the process quick and hassle-free. I particularly appreciated the convenience of the contactless check-in.
  
  What could be improved: I am dissatisfied with the supplies in the apartment. Specifically, the towels and bed sheets are not clean and have an unpleasant odor. At least there should be a microwave offered. The room was heating up due to large windows facing direct sunlight and with barely covered curtains and no fan offer…
