limehome Dresden Hoyerswerdaerstraße Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to limehome Dresden Hoyerswerdaerstraße, you immediately get that modern apartment-hotel vibe that’s become so popular lately. It’s one of those places that feels more like staying in a friend’s well-designed apartment than a traditional hotel — which, honestly, is exactly what you want when you’re planning to spend more than just a night or two in Dresden. The building sits right in Neustadt, and I mean, the location really does live up to the hype that recent guests keep talking about.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Neustadt is where you actually want to be if you’re looking to experience Dresden beyond just the tourist trail. You’re walking distance from the Elbe riverfront, but you’re also surrounded by local cafes, quirky shops, and that authentic German neighborhood feel. What I really appreciate is how couples seem to gravitate toward this area — there’s something about the tree-lined streets and the mix of historic and contemporary that just works for a romantic getaway. The four-star rating makes sense when you factor in this prime positioning.
Living Space That Actually Works
The room setup here is what sets limehome apart from your standard hotel experience. You get a proper kitchenette, which honestly saves you from having to eat out for every single meal — and in a city like Dresden where you might want to grab fresh bread from a local bakery and just enjoy a quiet morning, that matters. The design is clean and functional without being sterile, and there’s enough space to actually unpack and settle in. I mean, when you’re staying somewhere with an 8.3 rating, you expect things to work smoothly, and they do.
Getting Around and Staying Connected
What you’ll quickly realize is how well-connected this spot is to everything you want to see in Dresden. The Neustadt train station isn’t far if you’re planning day trips, and getting to the Altstadt with all the major sights is straightforward. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this part of town — it’s urban, after all — but the trade-off is that you can walk to most places you’d want to go for dinner or drinks. The neighborhood has this lived-in quality that makes you feel less like a tourist and more like a temporary local.
Why Guests Love It
There’s a reason couples keep rating the location so highly — it strikes that perfect balance between being central and being peaceful. You’re not dealing with the crowds that swarm around the Frauenkirche, but you can still get there easily when you want to. The whole limehome concept works particularly well here because Dresden is a city where you want to take your time, maybe spend an afternoon just wandering along the Elbe or discovering a new restaurant in the neighborhood. Having a base that feels like home, with the reliability of hotel service, honestly just makes the whole experience more relaxed.

Reviews of limehome Dresden Hoyerswerdaerstraße
Cute stay! – Arna from Iceland – May 28, 2025 (9/10)
Cute, cosy and comfortable! Loved it.
What could be improved: The stairs! We had a senior with us, and our apartment was located on the 4th floor. Walking four floors was a great workout for us but it’s probably not the best option for older people.Super nice appartement in Dresden – Djafeth from Netherlands – May 15, 2025 (9/10)
The location was amazing, the appartement was very nice and the hosts had clear communication with us 🙂
What could be improved: It can be a little difficult to find the appartemement, it's a little hidden 😉Wonderful – Lily from Indonesia – April 11, 2025 (9/10)
location is great. The unit and the facilities inside the unit is excellent. I got the 2nd floor unit and if you have heavy luggage, then it need some efforts to carry it up. other than that, I am very happy with the unit.
What could be improved: none 🙂Awesome comfort apartment locates not far from city centr, recommend it. – Yuliya from Poland – March 19, 2025 (9/10)
Good clean flat, everything needed for long living is there. Good location, about 25 minutes walk to the sightseeing.
What could be improved: The 5th floor without elevator, a bit noise from the street (tramways). If you’re looking for a place to park your car: go to the Rewe supermarket on Bautzner Straße. – Beate from Germany – January 5, 2025 (7/10)
Great location, close proximity to tram lines

Cleanness, furniture, the bathroom
What could be improved: It was on the 4rt floor with no lift!Great location and value for money. – Tatiana from Czech Republic – October 29, 2024 (9/10)
It was spacious and clean. Even though hous is on the busy crossroad, it was quite at night and we slept comfortably. Kitchen was equipped with everything you might need for a short stay.
What could be improved: There was no wardrobe, dresser, or even a chair to put clothes in the bedrooms. Also wifi wasn't working well.Overall – lovely place. Recommend! – Inga_grig from Lithuania – May 27, 2024 (9/10)
Lovely place. It's clean, modern, has comfortable beds, kitchenettes, hairdryer and iron with ironing board, almost everything you need. Neighbors were silent too. Easy to find place.
What could be improved: Tricky with parking, we couldn't get a place nearby, had to go rounds until we found a spot. Trams are just outside the building so you can hear it everytime. Sensitive sleepers might get some trouble. Also it seems Germans are early birds, we were woken up around 7:30 'cuz locals decided to start working outside in the yard 😅 so open windows aren't good idea too.Wonderful – Maria from Germany – May 26, 2024 (9/10)
The apartment was very well equipped, located in a convenient position in Neustadt, so there were many restaurants and bars close by, and also the Neustadt train station was easily reachable on foot. We also walked to the Altstadt, as it is only ~20 minutes walking. The apartment was clean and we felt at home.
What could be improved: The apartment was located at the 4th floor without elevator and we were not informed in advance. It was no problem for us, but maybe it should be communicated in advance if any guests would have an issue with stairs.
