The location thing is honestly what makes this place work so well. You’re on this quiet residential street that most tourists never notice, but you’re still closer to the Semperoper than half the “luxury” hotels charging twice as much. I loved being able to walk to the Elbe riverfront in the evenings – there’s something about that stretch along the water that just works, especially when the light hits all those baroque buildings just right. Parking was actually manageable too, which is saying something for this part of Dresden. The host was pretty straightforward with check-in instructions, no drama there. I did notice the stairs situation – it’s an older building, so if you’ve got heavy luggage, just be prepared for that. But honestly, that’s half the charm of staying somewhere with actual character instead of some generic chain place. The 8.4 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s not trying to be something it’s not – just a solid, well-located base that lets you actually experience Dresden like you’re living there temporarily instead of just passing through. For a three-star setup, it definitely overdelivers on the stuff that actually matters.

  What could be improved: In der Wohnung haben wir in 4 Tagen 8 Silberfischchen gefangen . Und vorm Bad waren laufend kleine Ameisen . Sauberkeit ging es lagen noch viel lange Dunkle Haare überall als wir angekommen sind ..
