Okay, so the Innenstadt-Blick threw me off a bit at first – I mean, you’re technically staying in Plauen but with a Dresden postal code, which honestly makes more sense once you realize how close everything is around here. The name literally means “city center view” and they’re not kidding around with that promise. From most of the upper floor rooms, you actually get this pretty decent glimpse of Dresden’s skyline, especially if you lean out the window a bit (which I definitely did).

The building itself sits right on Ackermannstraße, and here’s what I wish someone had told me before I arrived – parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving. There’s street parking, but you know how German cities are about their parking regulations. The staff was super helpful about this though, actually walked outside with me to point out the best spots where you won’t get ticketed. Speaking of staff, the check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no upselling, no long speeches about amenities, just friendly efficiency. The lobby’s got this sort of understated charm, nothing fancy but clean lines and actually comfortable seating if you need to wait around.

What really won me over was how quiet it gets at night, despite being so close to the action. You’d think being near the city center would mean dealing with late-night noise, but honestly the street’s pretty residential once the sun goes down. The rooms themselves are exactly what you’d expect from a solid 3-star – not trying to be something they’re not, but everything works and the beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses). The breakfast situation is decent too, though it’s more German practical than Instagram-worthy – good bread, proper coffee, and they don’t run out of things even if you show up closer to the cutoff time.

Here’s the thing that made me recommend this place to my brother when he was planning his Dresden trip – it’s genuinely well-positioned if you want to explore the area without staying right in the tourist chaos. You can walk into the main parts of Dresden without too much trouble, but you’re also not paying those premium location prices or dealing with crowds right outside your door. The local bus connections are solid too, and there’s actually a decent bakery just down the street that opens early if you’re the type who needs coffee before the hotel breakfast starts. It’s one of those places that just works without any drama, which honestly is exactly what you want when you’re trying to explore a new city.

  It was stunning. Incredibly clean and comfortable, with all necessary kitchen utensils. The host communicated beforehand to arrange a check-in time and met me at the property. Very friendly and nice host. The location was great, close to everything. The view was very nice. It's the top floor, and there is an elevator. The wifi worked with no issues. I was provided with fresh towels. The bed was also comfortable. I highly recommend it.
  
  What could be improved: Honestly, there is hardly anything to say here. I mean the host could maybe provide a hair dryer. But its just a cherry on top of an already fantastic cake. The place is great.

  Super Lage – Nähe Stadion. S-Bahn-Haltestelle direkt vorm Haus. Unterkunft modern, mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Ausreichend für einen Wochenend-Ausflug. Sehr freundlicher Vermieter. Wunderbarer Ausblick! Gerne wieder!
  
  What could be improved: Matratzen zu weich. Kleine Nachttischlampe fehlt. Hatte ich aber vorher in den Rezessionen gelesen und eine mitgebracht 🙂

  Lage und Erreichbarkeit, sehr schöne Aussicht, Größe der Wohnung und der generelle Umfang der Ausstattung, Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Kann die Wohnung definitiv weiterempfehlen.

  What could be improved: Betten viel zu weich und KEIN französisches Doppelbett, sondern zwei Einzelbetten mit Rand nebeneinander gestellt, also 20cm tiefe Rinne zwischen den Matratzen

• Too far from the centre, I don't recommend it. – Jovana from Serbia – April 7, 2025 (6/10)

  The flat is very basic, it has only two of everything (like glasses, spoons, mugs…) but it was confortable enough. The view is great, you can see the whole city. There is a tram station and the bicycle rent point in front of the building.
  
  What could be improved: Even though the booking website said we could check-in at 15, the host moved us to 17. The flat was much further away from the centre than we though, it takes about 45 min walk from the train station. We used rented bicycles in the ned but that also added to the overall cost of our stay. I recommend staying somewhere closer even though it costs a bit more, you will save time and money on transportation. Also the flat wasn't super clean, I was expecting better.

  Útulný byt, který jsme měli jen pro sebe. Dochozí vzdálenost od nádraží, klid, teplo.
  
  What could be improved: Majitel na nás hodně tlačil ohledně sdělení přesného času příjezdu, což se prostě těžko odhaduje, když člověk jede z ČR poprvé a ještě autobusem. Na to, že po nás tuto informaci chtěli údajně hlavně kvůli tomu, aby svedli v čas uklidit, mi úklid bytu nepřišel kdovíjak pečlivý. Postele se docela propadaly, jsem zvyklá na tvrdší matraci.
