After spending days walking around Dresden’s Altstadt (your feet will thank you for this), coming back to fire up the sauna was genuinely restorative. The whole setup feels like someone put actual thought into what travelers need, not just what sounds good in photos. And that E-charging station? Look, if you’re driving an electric car through Saxony, you’ll understand how much of a relief it is to not hunt around for charging spots – especially in residential areas like this where they’re not exactly on every corner.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets up here, especially in the evenings. You’re away from the main traffic arteries but still connected enough that getting into Dresden proper doesn’t feel like an expedition. The 4-star rating feels right – it’s not trying to be some luxury resort, but everything works properly and there’s genuine attention to comfort. That 9.8 rating makes sense too, actually. The host clearly knows what they’re doing, check-in was smooth, and the space just feels well-maintained without being sterile. I stayed during shoulder season in late spring, and honestly, I can see this being even better in winter when that sauna would be absolutely perfect after cold days exploring Christmas markets. The whole area has this residential charm that you don’t get in hotel districts – you’re staying where actual Dresdeners live, which gives you a better feel for the city beyond just the tourist zones.

  Ein wunderbares Kleinod in unglaublich ruhiger Lage. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben den morgendlichen Blick in den Garten und die Tasse Kaffee auf der Terrasse genossen. Es ist wirklich so: Klein, aber sehr, sehr fein!
  
  What could be improved: Man sollte sich bewusst sein, dass die Wohnung und damit die Küche sehr klein ist. Die Möglichkeit zu kochen sind etwas eingeschränkt, aber wenn nicht zu viele Töpfe gebraucht werden möglich.

  Everything. An absolutely beautiful location, place, and backyard. They have everything you could need for your stay, it is very clean, has a home feel, the owners are so kind, and it is just a short walk to the tram stop to get to the city center. 15 min to get to downtown, but you will be tempted to just relax at the stay and enjoy their lovely neighborhood and garden.
