  Very helpful staff and a short straightforward walk of about 10/15 minutes, when loaded with luggage, from Mitte Banhof. Rooms spacious and well fitted, with wardrobe, hangers, ironing board/iron, carpet slippers and robe, fridge /safe, and a good selection of hot drinks with kettle. Good bathroom with walk-in overhead shower. Best of all, a night light facility, so for once, my little toilet finding torch was redundant! Reasonable choice on the breakfast buffet, and a selection of foods cooked to order, eg. Scrambled eggs with bacon, waffles, and pancakes. Impressively they had a gluten-free ra ge of foods available . Good bar facility at night, and they were happy to store my luggage until after 6.00 in the evening , which meant I could have another full day exploring.
  
  What could be improved: It is quite a walk into the old town, so I regularly used a taxi cost between 7 and 8 euros.

  First stay with IHG hotel and it exceeded my expectations. Very friendly staff, really good variety of foods for breakfast, easy access from the parking, amazing cosmetics from Zenology. Heartily reccommend as a hotelier.
