I mean, when was the last time you found a 3-star place where you could actually spread out like that?

The whole setup feels like staying at a friend’s place rather than a typical hotel. Everything works the way it should (the shower pressure was surprisingly good), but there’s this lived-in comfort that you don’t get in sterile hotel rooms. The hosts clearly know what they’re doing – check-in was smooth, they left helpful notes about the area, and parking wasn’t the nightmare I expected in Germany. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. You’re close enough to Dresden proper that getting to the Frauenkirche or Zwinger only takes about 20 minutes by tram, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with late-night revelers or morning delivery trucks. The 11 tram line runs pretty regularly from nearby, though I’ll be honest – having a car made exploring the Saxon countryside way easier. There’s something about this spot that just works, you know? Maybe it’s because Niederpoyritz still feels authentically German rather than tourist-polished, or maybe it’s just that the whole experience felt refreshingly straightforward. Either way, if you’re the type who values space, quiet, and a genuine neighborhood feel over being in the thick of everything, this place delivers in ways that surprised me.

  Die Ferienwohnung hat uns absolut überzeugt. Hervorragende – sehr ruhige – Lage mit tollem Ausblick direkt am Elbhang gelegen. Eigener Parkplatz und kleiner Sitzplatz im Garten mit herrlichem Blick über die Gegend. Auch die Stadt ist zu sehen. Die Wohnung ist insgesamt top ausgestattet – auch in der Küche! Vollwertige Einbauküche mit allem drum und dran. Selbst ein Geschirrspüler ist vorhanden. Bequeme Betten sind obendrein vorhanden und, last but not least, ein aufmerksamer und sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Uns fehlte es an nichts! Wir haben das selten so positiv erlebt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder, sobald es uns wieder nach Dresden zieht. herzlichen Dank für alles 🙂
