The name basically tells you everything you need to know – it really is a proper apartment with a kitchen, and yes, they actually mean it about the coffee. I’m talking quality beans, not those sad hotel packets. The moment you walk into this spot on Robert-Blum-Straße, you realize you’ve stumbled onto something that feels more like crashing at a Dresden friend’s place than booking a typical hotel room.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to experience Dresden like someone who actually lives there. Neustadt is where the locals hang out – you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Elbe riverbank, and the whole Outer Neustadt scene is right at your doorstep. I mean, you can grab groceries at the corner, hit up the vintage shops and cafés along Rothenburger Straße, or just wander over to the Kunsthofpassage when you want to feel like a tourist again. The building itself has that classic East German charm (you’ll know what I mean when you see the stairwell), but inside it’s been thoughtfully updated without losing character. The kitchen is actually functional – like, you can cook real meals, not just heat up leftovers. There’s proper counter space, decent cookware, and honestly better coffee setup than most people have at home.

What really sold me though was how quiet it gets at night, despite being right in the middle of everything. Robert-Blum-Straße isn’t one of those main drags where trams clatter by at all hours – it’s more residential, so you’ll sleep well. The 8.7 rating makes total sense once you’re there; it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything just works. Check-in was smooth (they’re pretty responsive over WhatsApp), and parking… well, it’s street parking like everywhere in Neustadt, but honestly not terrible if you’re patient. The whole setup feels like they actually thought about what travelers need rather than just throwing together a rental. Dresden’s compact enough that you can walk to the Altstadt across the Augustus Bridge when you want the postcard views, but coming back to Neustadt feels like coming home to the real city.

  Location was perfect, everything was closed to the apartment, also parking was easy on the street (payment only cash or via app). Apartment is spacious and coffee was a nice bous.
  
  What could be improved: Apartment is situated on the busy street so you need to have closed windows. During the summer is very hot in the apartment and sleeping there without AC could be a problem (for us it was).

  Lokalizacja korzystna 15 minut spacerem na stare miasto. Apartament przy ruchliwej drodze, ale nie przeszkadzało. Łóżko wygodne, jadalnia z salonem i kuchnią bardzo duża. Wyposażenie bardzo dobre możliwość podjechania autem pod sam lokal w celu wypakowania walizek. Parking dostępny na ulicy w kwocie 6 euro za dzień.
  
  What could be improved: Ekspres do kawy oraz kawa dostępne przez cały czas pobytu. Cisza w całej kamienicy, wrażenie jak byśmy byli sami. Czysta pościel i ręczniki. W salonie bardzo wygodna sofa z możliwością rozłożenia. Miłym akcentem był kalendarz Adwentowy.

  Die Grösse und Ausstattung waren toll und die Lage insgesamt auch sehr gut.
  
  What could be improved: Das Gebäude ist in einer relativ großen Straße mit viel Verkehr. Wenn die Fenster geschlossen sind, ist es sehr leise, aber wenn man die Wohnung lüften möchte, wird es laut. Zusätzlich würden wir der Gastgeberin sehr empfehlen eine Jalousie an der Balkontür im Wohnzimmer zu installieren, unsere Kinder waren wegen der Licht um 6:00uhr wach!

  Unser Mitarbeiter war total glücklich mit dieser Wohnung, sehr sauber, alles da was man so braucht und sogar für die ersten Tassen Kaffee war alles vorhanden. Ein kleiner Balkon hat das ganze abgerundet.
