Pieschen itself is… well, it’s not the postcard part of Dresden. You’re about twenty minutes by tram from the Frauenkirche and all that baroque eye candy, but that’s kind of the point. This neighborhood feels like actual Dresden – where people live and work and grab groceries, not just pose for Instagram photos. The apartments here sit in a pretty typical residential building, nothing fancy from the outside, but step inside and you realize someone actually thought about what travelers need. The kitchens aren’t just for show (I mean, they have proper coffee makers and enough counter space to actually cook), and the beds are the kind you sink into after a long day of wandering cobblestone streets. Parking was surprisingly easy – there’s usually spots right on Kronenstraße, which anyone who’s driven in German city centers will appreciate.

What really got me was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re still connected to everything. The S-Bahn station at Pieschen is maybe a seven-minute walk, and from there you can get pretty much anywhere in the city without dealing with the tourist crowds until you actually want to. The 9.4 rating makes total sense when you think about it – these aren’t luxury suites, but they nail all the stuff that actually matters when you’re exploring a city for a few days. The check-in process was refreshingly simple (no lobby theatrics, just keys and helpful directions), and the apartments themselves feel lived-in rather than sterile. I remember thinking the shower pressure was better than my place back home, which… priorities, right? If you’re the type who needs a concierge and room service, this probably isn’t your speed. But if you want a clean, comfortable base that lets you experience Dresden like a temporary local rather than a tourist passing through, then yeah, Kronenstraße 59 is worth considering.

  Wohnung war recht schön gelegen. Ruhig, aber sehr gut angebunden an den ÖPNV. Die Einrichtung war zweckmäßig und alles war top in Ordnung. Vermieter/in waren sehr nett.

  Die Aufteilung in der Wohnung war klasse. 2 getrennte geräumige Schlafräume und 1 gemütliches Wohnzimmer. Eine Küche eingerichtet mit allen nötigen Geräten, sogar mit Spülmaschine. Sauberes Bad mit Badewanne.
  Sehr schön war auch das die Betten bereits frisch bezogen waren und Handtücher zur Verfügung lagen. Sehr liebenswerte Vermieter. Herzlichen Dank nochmal für die Ausnahme die Sie uns gemacht haben.

  Pieschen ist wunderschön, die Lage ist ein Traum. Sehr ruhig und doch kommt man schnell zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Frau Jagota war sehr freundlich und wir waren rundum sehr zufrieden.

  Geräumige Wohnung, ideal für 2 Paare. Es fehlt eigentlich an nichts. Schöner Balkon dazu.Sehr nette Gastgeber . Lage ist zwar etwas abseits,im Vorort Pieschen, aber wir waren mit dem Fahrrad in 15min im Zentrum. Klare Empfehlung als Ausgangspunkt,wenn man Dresden an mehreren Tagen erkunden will.
