The area around Schönfeld-Weißig has some nice walking paths too, which I discovered completely by accident on my second morning there.

  Die Ferienwohnung ist geräumig, gemütlich und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und erlaubt die Zubereitung von fast allen Gerichten. Die Lage ist ruhig, aber nicht weit vom ÖPNV nach Dresden entfernt.

  Dieses liebevoll restaurierte Dachgeschoss hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen: gemütlich, gut ausgestattet, supersauber! Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hatten gute Tipps für die Umgebung parat. Die Wohnung liegt im DG einer ausgebauten Scheune, die neben dem Haus der Vermieter steht, so dass man sich ungestört fühlen kann. Die Lage im Dresdner Hochland ist ideal für jegliche Unternehmungen in und um Dresden herum. Tolle Ausflugsziele liegen 45 min mit dem Auto entfernt, doch man kommt auch gut mit dem Bus weg. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es im Ort direkt nicht, hier waren es 10 min mit dem Auto. Insgesamt habe wir 5 uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt.
  
  What could be improved: Das 3-Bett-Zimmer hat wenig bis gar keinen Stauraum, das Schränkchen im Wohnbereich hat dann ausgeholfen. Für Sommer und 10 Tage Aufenthalt war das völlig ok, doch ansonsten könnte es knapp werden.
  An der Küchenzeile ist eine große Fensterfront, bei der ich dachte: wäre schön, diese aufmachen zu können. Das habe ich dem Vermieter am Ende unseres Aufenthalts gesagt. Und siehe da, es hieß: da kommt noch ein Balkon ran, ist alles schon ausgemessen.

  Vriendelijke eigenaren (en kindrren).. Ook mocht er gebruik worden grmaakt van de tuin, onze dochters hebben een keer even afgekoeld in het zwembad. Een fijne ruime living en heel veel keukeninventaris. De meiden vonden het vooral fijn dat niemand dd afwas hoefde te doen 😉
