There’s this lovely morning light that comes through the windows facing the courtyard, and it’s surprisingly quiet given how close you are to everything. I stayed during Striezelmarkt season (which gets absolutely mental in the center), and I could barely hear the city noise at night. The Wi-Fi is solid too, which matters if you’re trying to plan day trips or – let’s be honest – upload all those Frauenkirche photos.

What really gets me is how Emma manages to make the place feel genuinely welcoming without being overly fussy about it. There’s local coffee in the kitchen, some basic pantry items, and she leaves this handwritten note with her actual favorite restaurant recommendations – not the obvious tourist traps, but places like that little Italian spot on Hauptstraße that doesn’t even have an English menu but serves the best pasta in Dresden. The check-in was smooth (she met me there personally, which is getting rarer these days), and when I had a question about bus routes, she responded within an hour with detailed directions. It’s the kind of hospitality that feels effortless but is actually pretty thoughtful.   Die einzigartige, absolut traumhafte Aussicht und Blick ins Weite (unser Highlight), die Lage der Unterkunft auf dem Hügel (das Stadtviertel Pillnitz ist einfach wunderschön), der Kamin, die schöne Terrasse mit dem Ausblick, sowie die wunderschöne Beete mit den vielen Kräutern. Haben jeden Morgen uns damit frischen Tee gekocht. 🙂
  Das Geschirr, die liebevollen Details, dass an alles gedacht worden ist (Spültabs, Spültücher, Küchenrolle, Öl, Essig, Gewürze, Kaffeemaschine, Hausschlappen, usw.)
  
  Wir hatten all in all eine wunderschöne Zeit. Man hat sich gefühlt in den Tagen, als wäre das unser eigenes kleines Reich.

  What could be improved: Das Internet entsprach nicht 100% unseren Anforderungen, da wir von dort aus nicht nur Urlaub gemacht hatten, sondern auch gearbeitet haben.
  Außerdem haben die Vorhänge nicht gut genug verdunkelt, sodass es um kurz nach 5 schon hell wurde. Wir haben uns selbst geholfen, indem wir Schlafmasken besorgt haben. 🙂
  Alles halb so wild. Diese zwei Punkte sollten Reisende jedoch aus meiner Sicht wissen.

  Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und stilvoll eingerichtet und wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten. Sogar ein Babybett für unsere Tochter wurde bereitgestellt.

  Очень удобная кровать, есть все необходимые кухонные принадлежности, дрова, моющие средства, лед в морозилке, кофе, сахар. Красивая посуда, везде атмосфера уюта и чистоты. Место очень тихое и спокойное, в отличие от центра города. Парковка оказалась совсем рядом. До Дрездена легко добраться на общественном транспорте. Неподалеку есть ближайший ресторан с русскоговорящим персоналом.
  
  Это были пока лучшие апартаменты за всю нашу поездку.
