What struck me right away was how the owner (super friendly guy, by the way) has managed to create this really livable space that doesn’t feel like it’s trying too hard. The apartment has this comfortable, lived-in quality – I mean that in the best way – where everything just works without being fussy about it. The kitchen actually has decent knives and more than two plates, which honestly puts it ahead of half the places I’ve stayed. And the shower pressure? Better than my apartment back home, if I’m being real about it.

Here’s the thing about staying in Leuben that nobody really tells you – you’re about fifteen minutes by tram from the Altstadt, but you get to experience Dresden like someone who actually lives here. There’s a proper bakery just down the street (not some tourist trap charging three euros for a pretzel), and the Elbe riverbank is close enough for morning walks when you want to clear your head. I actually found myself looking forward to that daily tram ride into the center because you get these glimpses of regular Dresden life – kids heading to school, people walking their dogs along the quieter streets. The S-Bahn connection is solid too, which came in handy when I wanted to explore beyond the city center. Parking was never an issue, which… well, if you’ve ever tried to park near Frauenkirche, you know that’s worth mentioning. The neighborhood gets properly quiet at night – not dead quiet, just that comfortable residential hum that actually helps you sleep. I’d definitely come back, especially if I was planning a longer stay where having a real kitchen and some space to spread out matters more than being able to stumble back to your room from the Christmas market.

  Für unseren Aufenthalt (Verwandtschaft besuchen) top Lage in Laubegast. Kleine aber gut ausgestattete und bei Übernahme sehr saubere Unterkunft. Kontakt mit den Vermietern lief über die Booking App und war völlig problemlos. Vielen Dank!

  Der Parkplatz vor der Haustür war gut, Fahrstuhl bei viel Gepäck super. Bett war bequem, genauso wie die Bettwäsche. Rutschfeste Matte in der Dusche. Schlüsselübergabe einfach, unkompliziert. Küchenausstattung war in Ordnung. Mülleimer ware genug da. Bad hatte ausreichend Ablagen.
  
  What could be improved: Schlafzimmer ungünstig eingeräumt, hier wird viel Platz verschenkt. Dadurch auch fehlende Ablagen (Nachttisch), aber alternative vorhanden. Bei zwei Personen leider nur ein große Handtuch und zwei Kleine. Bittte gern pro Person 2-3 Handtücher. Leider keine Angabe zu Mülltonnen bzw Müllentsorgung.
