The apartment is spacious in that old German way, with high ceilings and these gorgeous original hardwood floors that creak just slightly when you walk around (but in a charming way, not annoying). The kitchen is fully kitted out, which is perfect because there’s this fantastic weekly market just down the street where you can grab fresh bread and local cheese. Actually, the whole Neustadt area is brilliant for wandering around – it’s got this artsy, slightly bohemian vibe that feels authentic rather than touristy. You know what I mean? Like, there are these little galleries and vintage shops tucked into courtyards that you’d never find unless you were actually living here for a bit.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to experience Dresden like a local. You’re a pleasant walk from the old town (maybe fifteen minutes if you’re not dawdling), but you’re right in the thick of where people actually live and hang out. There’s this cozy little café called Aha around the corner that does proper German coffee, and the tram connections are excellent – though honestly, I ended up walking everywhere because the neighborhood is so interesting. Parking can be a bit tricky on the street, but the host was super helpful about explaining the resident parking system. One small thing – the building entrance is a bit unmarked, so don’t feel silly if you walk past it the first time. I definitely did. But once you’re inside, the apartment itself is just… well, it’s got that 9.7 rating for a reason. Everything works perfectly, the Wi-Fi is fast, and there are these thoughtful touches like local guidebooks and even some basic groceries waiting for you. It’s the kind of place where you actually feel settled after one night instead of constantly living out of your suitcase.

  Die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Lage. Etwas am Stadtrand gelegen, aber alles ist mit ÖPNV zu erreichen.
  Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. Es mangelt einem an nichts. Absolutes Highlight ist der Ausblick. Sowohl die bodentiefen Fenster als auch die riesige Terrasse bieten ein atemberaubendes Ambiente. Zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit kann man den Blick weit schweifen lassen. Einfach toll.
