The thing about this place is the location – you’re right in the heart of Neustadt, which is Dresden’s artsy, slightly bohemian neighborhood. I’m talking a five-minute walk to some seriously good coffee shops and these little galleries that locals actually hang out in, not just tourist traps. Frühlingstraße itself is pretty quiet for the area, so you won’t have drunk students stumbling past your window at 3 AM (though you might catch some weekend noise from the main drags nearby). The building looks like every other turn-of-the-century apartment block in the area – that lovely German architecture with the high ceilings and big windows that actually open properly. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that awkward lobby waiting around since, well, there really isn’t a traditional lobby to speak of.

What really works here is how they’ve managed to make these small spaces feel functional rather than cramped. The rooms have this sort of minimalist vibe – not Instagram-perfect minimalist, but practical minimalist, if that makes sense. Everything you need is there, just don’t expect to spread out your entire suitcase across a massive bedroom. The kitchenette situation is actually pretty decent for a 3-star place, and there’s something nice about grabbing fresh bread from the bakery down the street and making your own coffee in the morning. Parking can be a bit of a headache around here (honestly, just use public transport – the tram connections are excellent), but that’s pretty much true for all of Neustadt. The 8.9 rating makes total sense once you realize what this place is trying to be – it’s not luxury, it’s not trying to impress your Instagram followers, but it’s clean, well-located, and the staff genuinely seems to care about making sure you have what you need. If you’re the type of traveler who wants to feel like you’re actually living in Dresden for a few days rather than just passing through, this spot delivers on that promise.

  Gute Lage, nur 10 Minuten mit der Straßenbahn von der Altstadt entfernt. Im Viertel gibt es alle notwendigen Restaurants und Supermärkte. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man zum Wohnen braucht, die Küche verfügt über alle notwendigen Utensilien. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, hat alles gezeigt und erklärt und schnell auf alle Fragen geantwortet.

  Die Fewo liegt in einem neu gebauten Haus inmitten der äusseren Neustadt. Es gibt viele kleine Kneipen, jede Menge internationaler Küche, viele junge Szene – lebhaft und trotzdem ruhig. Die Fewo ist sehr gut ausgestattet -man könnte auch länger als 4 Nächte bleiben. Einen kostenlosen Parkplatz kann man in der Nähe finden (z.B. Jägerstrasse). Fussläufig ist man dann in ca. 20 min an der Königsbrücke. Für‘s Frühstück ist auch gesorgt. Ein Bäcker- der Mühlenbäcker – ist in unmittelbarer Nähe zu finden und hat auch Sa/So geöffnet. Uns hat der Aufenthalt richtig gut gefallen – kommen bestimmt wieder!

  Clean, fresh and brand new apartment in a modern building in a very quiet but kinda central also location. Right next to Alaunpark, with nice coffee and dining options around and many bars a bit further. Comfortable bed and everything gave a super nice feeling. Definitely recommended for a trip in Dresden, maybe for even longer since the kitchen is equipped with all the essentials, even a dishwasher!

  The 1-room apartment is clean and new. There is a small patio outside. The bed linen were included. It's very near the centre of Neustadt, to the Alaunpark, the Heide and also to the Strassenbahn.
