The tram connections are actually better than I expected; you can get to the Zwinger or cross over to Neustadt without any hassle. And here’s something the booking sites don’t tell you – you’re really close to some gorgeous walking paths along the Elbe. I discovered this completely by accident on my second morning and ended up spending way more time just wandering the riverbank than I’d planned. The whole area gets this golden light in the late afternoon that makes you understand why Dresden’s called the Florence of the North (though honestly, I think Dresden’s prettier, but don’t tell the Italians I said that). Street parking was easier than I feared, and the check-in process was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward hovering-in-a-lobby thing while they find your reservation. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto something good rather than just booked another night somewhere convenient.

  Gute Verkehrsanbindung zur Innenstadt per Bus und Bahn. Nette Vermieterin und sehr gutes Info-Material in der Wohnung vorhanden. In Ferienwohnung selber ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt,es fehlt an nichts. Sehr ruhiges Haus und Grundstück, kein Straßenlärm vernehmbar. Wir waren sehr zufrieden 😃

  Sie ist mit ihrer offenen Küche und den beiden Schlafzimmern ausreichend groß. Uns hat sie sehr gefallen. Spiele, Bücher, Cd's sorgen für einen schönen Abend.
  Der Garten ist traumhaft. Alles war sehr sauber.
