That 9.3 rating isn’t just people being nice.

The thing about staying right on Neumarkt is you’re maybe a two-minute walk from the Frauenkirche, and I mean you can practically see the Christmas market setup from some windows if you’re there in December. But here’s what nobody tells you – mornings are actually pretty quiet despite being so central. The old cobblestones seem to muffle everything until around 9 AM when the tour groups start rolling in. The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel, which I know sounds cliche, but there’s something about the way they’ve set up the family rooms that just works. My kids could spread out their stuff without me tripping over everything, and there’s enough space that nobody felt cramped after a long day of dragging them through museums.

What really got me was the little details – like they actually have decent coffee setup (not those terrible pod machines), and the shower pressure was surprisingly strong for a building that’s probably been here since before my grandfather was born. The woman who checked us in knew exactly which tram to take to get to the Zwinger without the crowds, and she wasn’t just reciting some script either. You know what I mean? She actually lives here. Parking was… well, it’s Dresden’s old town, so don’t expect miracles, but there’s a garage about three blocks away that won’t completely destroy your budget. The apartment stays cool in summer too, which honestly saved us during that heat wave in July – those thick old walls are good for something besides just looking pretty.

I’ll be real with you though, if you’re the type who needs everything perfectly polished and hotel-service-y, this might feel a bit too homey. But for families who want to actually live in Dresden for a few days instead of just passing through? This place gets it right. Plus, and this is key if you’re traveling with kids, there’s a little courtyard area where they can burn off energy without you worrying about them running into traffic or disturbing other guests. By evening, when you’re tired from climbing up the Hausmannsturm or whatever, you can grab groceries from the Rewe around the corner and actually cook something real instead of eating overpriced schnitzel for the fourth night running.

  Excellent location in the “old” area of Dresden. Plenty of space for a family of 4. Check in and out was very easy and efficient with friendly and helpful staff.
  
  What could be improved: The washing machine was small and not the best, but it got the job done. As is typical in Germany, there is no clothes dryer but there is a lot of drying rack space. There is no air conditioning.

  Ez tényleg a központban van. Konkrétan, ahogy kilép az ember az ajtón máris a fő téren van! Elképesztő tágas, rendkívül tiszta, rendezett és jól felszerelt, kényelmes ágyakkal. Valóban (jobb) hotel szintű minőség remek áron apartman előnyökkel!
  
  What could be improved: Nem tudnék negatív dolgot említeni, maximum a parkolás lehet kicsit kényelmetlen, de ilyen esetben – ha központi apartmanról / szállásról van szó – mindig nehezebben oldható meg ez. Szerencsére 200m-re egy nagyobb kültéri parkoló is van, ahol este ingyenes a parkolás, de ha jól rémlik, akkor mélygarázs is van a közelben.

  Найбільше сподобалось розташування апартаментів та самі апартаменти.
  Все було чисто!
  Зручно, що є підземний паркінг з якого на ліфті піднімаєшся прямо на свій поверх апартаментів.
  Але за комфорт потрібно платити – 28 євро за добу.
  Супер зручне ліжко, подушки та ковдра.
  Велика ванна.
  
  What could be improved: Трохи слабкий інтернет, який час від часу пропадав.
  Хотілося б порекомендувати поставити чай та каву в апартаменти.
  Оскільки приїхали в неділю, то навіть не було де купити.
  Хочу порекомендувати придбати посудомийну машинку, оскільки у відпустці не хочеться тратити час на це.
  Дорогий сніданок 25 євро/ людина. Ми відмовились.
  Дорогий але зручний паркінг.
  Писали про те що мало освітлення в апартаментах – це дійсно так, але нам все підходило і в цьому ми не побачили проблеми.
