The building itself sits in this perfect sweet spot where you’re technically in the historic district but far enough from the main tourist chaos that you can actually hear yourself think. The Großer Garten is literally right there (hence the name), and I found myself wandering through those paths every morning with my coffee. There’s something about having that green space so close – you get the city energy when you want it, but also this peaceful escape that most Dresden accommodations just can’t offer. The apartment itself is surprisingly spacious for eight people, which let’s be honest, usually means you’re stepping over each other in European rentals. But they’ve actually thought this through. The terrace became our evening hangout spot, and you can catch glimpses of the park through the trees while you’re having dinner out there.

What really sold me was how the owners clearly know Dresden. They’ve stocked the place with local recommendations that go beyond the obvious Frauenkirche suggestions – little cafés on side streets, the best bakery for Sunday mornings (it’s actually just a five-minute walk), that sort of insider knowledge you usually only get from friends who live here. The 9.4 rating makes sense once you’re there; it’s those small touches that add up. Good water pressure, quiet at night despite being on Wiener Straße, and the heating actually works properly – details that matter when you’re staying more than just a night or two. I’ll admit the street can get a bit busy during rush hours, but it dies down completely by evening. If you’re planning to explore Dresden properly and want a base that feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying in a sterile hotel room, this spot delivers on that promise.

  Przestronne, duże mieszkanie. Świetnie wyposażone, czyste i bardzo przyjemne. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja w spokojnej, cichej okolicy. Do mieszkania przypisane jest miejsce parkingowe pod wiatą. Jeśli ktoś jedzie dwoma samochodami to na pewno drugi zaparkuje nieopodal, na ulicy jest dużo miejsc parkingowych a parking jest bezpłatny. Świetny kontakt z właścicielem. Polecam.

  Zur Ausstattung gehört auch eine Kaffeemaschine, die ganze Bohnen verarbeitet für sehr guten Kaffeegenuss.
  Der Gastgeber ist sehr am Wohlfühlen der Gäste interessiert.

  Die Wohnung war super sauber und einladend eingerichtet, alle fühlten sich sehr wohl, perfekte Abdunklung möglich, Gewürze, Kaffee/Tee sowie Spülutensilien, Geschirrtuch, Küchenrolle vorhanden, Stellplatz für das Auto direkt vor der Tür, Vermieter meldete sich bei Fragen umgehend, Schlüsselübergabe vollkommen komplikationslos, Check out um 11Uhr sehr angenehm als (Groß-)Familie. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Dresden!
